I am pleased to announce the first Hogsmeade Weekend. Signs will be up tomorrow morning, but I wanted to share the information as soon as I was given it.

All interested persons (who have turned in a signed permission slip) may meet at the front entrance of Hogwarts at 9am Sunday morning.

All of these rumors about me are completely false. Completely false. I would never do anything like that to keep my badge. I am disappointed that any of you would believe that I am capable of doing something so low and whoreish. I was not appointed to the role of Head Girl for any other reason than the staff agreeing that I was the best suited to the job, and it has nothing to do with anything sexual at all.

Everyone please stay calm. Stay in your compartment and allow them to search. This will all be over soon.

Good morning, everyone, and welcome back to Hogwarts. I'm very, very pleased that I can return this year.

I see that the journals are already spreading around the train. I think that it is wonderful that so many of you are enjoying the charm. I only ask that you conduct yourself properly as you go about the train. Please refrain from hexing, dueling, and any Muggle means of combat.
